Hey all,
Thought I would post a few pictures from a recent surprise visit Roger, Laura and I made to Sarasota. We were only there from about 4 a.m. (yes, a.m.) Friday morning to around 3 p.m. on Sunday, but the look on my parents' face was worth it! One of the best things about little kids is that if something difficult is going on, they don't have a clue and just act like their crazy, silly, fun selves. That's what happened in Sarasota - I think Roger was a good distraction for all of us as we played a long waiting game...a story for another time. Here are some fun pictures from the short time we had.

Poppop, Mimi, and Rog
Roger decided "Poppop" was too long a name so he just started calling him "Pop". Toward the end of the weekend he finally started calling Mimi "Mi" - melted hearts all around! The real heart breaker happened Sunday morning when Roger saw my mom playing the piano in church. He broke down crying when he couldn't go see her. I finally had to take him out of the service he got so upset!
Roger getting ready to travel
Roger and his "Rah Rah" - Any blond that crosses Roger's path from our nursery worker to a third grader we saw at the aquarium gets called "rah rah". It's awesome and so cute.
My wonderful grandmas - both spunky in their own right.
Roger playing with my dear friend, Melissa's little boy, Jacob. Melissa is like the most fun mom in the world - she's crazy and so much fun. The boys only had a short time together, but they enjoyed it.
