Two Years Old

So here are a few pictures to help document Roger turning two.  His personality seems to come out more and more each day - I love it!  He's definitely started into some tantrums, but I'm trying to remember that it's "Terrific Twos" and not "terrible" (thanks, Dad!).  But overall he's a curious, fun-loving, crazy boy and he keeps my life joyous and interesting.  Can't wait to see what the Lord will do with him!

This one is technically before he was two - at Kaylee's two year old bday party - they have so much fun together.  Roger's been going over to Aunt Joce's house while I work on Tuesdays and I have a more difficult time saying goodbye to him than he does!

Here he is with his "Rah Rah" - talk about obsessed......sometimes when he's getting in trouble he says, "Rah Rah" - hoping she'll come save him - most of the time she's not even here.  But hey, when you give a kid anything he wants, what's not to love?  

Here we are at the aquarium - still going there at least once every other week, often once a week - it's a great outing when it's cold or rainy.  Roger loves to look for "Melmo" (his word for "Nemo" - no wonder he can't find him)

So, I got this fine welcome to the world of being two the day after Roger's birthday....

Isn't there some saying about having egg on your face? or the yokes on you?  or something? Apparently he's a very literal child.....The saddest part is I was eating my breakfast right next to him reading a magazine and didn't know what he was doing until it got this far...

Here Roger and Daddy are taking apart his crib!  Yep, he's in a big boy bed.  

Here's what he thought about it.....

He has done amazingly well with being in it.  He knows he can get out, but he's only tried it twice - he got up, tried the door, found out he couldn't open it and he went back to bed.  After a few nights of him laying every which way we gave him a pillow and that keeps him straight for the most part.  He's getting so big!
