Thanksgiving/Christmas in Jackson

We had such a great time in Jackson eating and being with family.  We were so excited when we found out that Rachel and Kim were going to make it home so that all Gerald's siblings would be in the same place!  The best part was just being together.  I always wondered what Paul meant exactly when he talked about his joy being made complete.  But when I see people I love loving Roger, I think I know what he meant.  We got to hang out, talk, shop, and eat (Gerald's mom is a fantastic cook!).  Below are a few shots of the festivities:

The whole fam (except Rog III was sleeping)

Of course Roger caught on very quickly to what it meant to open his presents - and how to "help" everyone else open theirs.....

Tearing into them...
And here's he's worn out

And here he is wearing others out...

Gerald's dad got a lathe so Gerald worked hard all weekend making new spindles for our dining room chairs.  Our dining room table was bought when my mom was in middle school so their obviously antiques.
Just kiddin', mom.

He did such an amazing job!  He continues to amaze me with his talent!
I was so proud.
