Good Friends All Around

We had a great visit with family this weekend! Rodney, Megan, Jessie, Luke, Michelle, and Mattie came over to Chattanooga to help Mattie celebrate his 21st birthday. We had a great day - getting ice cream late-afternoon, walking around Coolidge Park, then waiting by the Tennessee River until our table was ready at a local seafood restaurant called The Boathouse. The weekend was full of catching up, laughing a lot, and having fun being with friends and family. I am continually amazed by what a blessing it is to have family that are also good friends - I love it! Here are a few pictures from the weekend:

Here's Kaylee and Roger running around - they're really starting to have fun together and it's SO much fun to watch!

Roger and Kaylee kept each other company at the restaurant. They did a good job of keeping each other happy too since they were both up way past their bedtimes!

And this is one of my all time favorite pictures of them! Kaylee was looking at the water and Roger came up and gave her a huge hug - 2.3 seconds later they both fell over, but amazingly neither one of them got hurt! I was especially glad to capture it, because the day after this I turned my camera on and it was broken so enjoy, these may be the last of the pictures for awhile.
