Our yard after the storm - hard to capture the scale - we had to have the three leaning trees taken out by "professionals" - I have a hard time calling the crew who showed up "professionals", but that could be a whole post in itself!
We are so thankful these trees missed Roger and Lena's bedroom and our neighbors house!
This is probably the worst house in our neighborhood - this house is just painful to look at - sadly this family does not plan to rebuild
This is the Ibach's house - their house moved off it's foundation about six feet - but the wind left a plastic flower pot sitting in the same place on the front porch. Weird.
An areial shot of our neighborhood
Roger I and Roger II are a dangerous/brave combo - wonder what will happen when Roger III is old enough to really join the mix!
Clean-up begins. We were AMAZED at the outpouring of help from volunteers. This would have taken us months to clean up on our own.
Bonfire anyone? Although, maybe you'd like it to be a little bigger...
And sweet Claire with Lena giving her a kiss - her favorite thing to do to her (thankfully)
Claire has been such a joy - I'm looking forward to having more time to focus on her now that life it begin to take a bit more shape.

Wow, Karen I didn't realize you all were hit by these tornadoes as well. So glad your house and family are okay! Jason's parents are dealing with a lot of damage (thankfully not their house) in Tuscaloosa as well. So sad to see such devistation.
