Roger's Third Birthday

No, we haven't had our new baby yet - still have four weeks (in theory) for that - these are some old pictures of Roger that I couldn't help but look at since he turned three last month. Thankfully he likes looking at pictures and videos of himself as much as I do so we've had fun reminiscing together!


Here he is just a couple of days old...can't believe we'll have one in the house again that's so little! Roger's been practicing with his little lamby - he dresses it up in a onesy and a baby hat and tells me to "hold it with two hands, Mom." He's convinced we're having a little girl and I really think we're having a boy so we'll see whose instincts are better. I'm already 0 for 1 since I was positive Roger was going to be a girl.


I don't remember how old he was here...just reminded me how big his brown eyes were/are


He grows in love with his tools more and more everyday - I wish I could get this thing to upload videos, there's one his grandpas would love of him racing around the room "building" the crib. I'll try to figure out if I can get it to work - although I might be better off asking Roger to do it - seriously, I think that kid is better on the computer than I am! It's ridiculous.

And here's Roger's third birthday party. With nine children and ten adults here, I didn't get a chance to take pictures during the party so here's one of me and Roger with his lego cake before our guests arrived. Looks so easy, right? Yeah, definitely took me two hours to frost...but I'd do it again in a heartbeat for the look on Roger's face and all the compliments from Gerald!


Quick shot (only shot) of Roger's Florida birthday. He and I flew down there the day after his birthday for a week to hang out with my parents before the baby comes. More pics to follow...
