Some of you may remember that we planted a garden in the fall: cabbages, cauliflowers, collards, snap peas, etc. Just as they were all starting to look beautiful, rabbits came and ate them all! All these years I've been on Peter Rabbit's side, I mean, he was just a fun-loving little bunny who wanted something good to eat. Well, now I'm firmly on Mr. McGreggor's side. So, this year, Gerald, who is always industrious, rigged up some chicken wire around our garden after mixing in a truckload of topsoil and we're getting our seedlings ready to plant in a couple weeks. Roger was eager to help, of course. Here are a few pictures of the project in process.
Roger helping Daddy - really he was just picking up as many rocks as possible and trying to stick them in his mouth when I wasn't paying attention. The second picture is Gerald showing Roger an earth worm - guess it didn't move enough, he wasn't interested.
Gerald took Roger for a wheelbarrow ride! He loved it, of course. And it made me fall in love with crocs (you can hose those things off and they're good as new!) and oxyclean (that stuff can take out anything!) all over again.

That, was adorable!
Jude loved watching this video! He thinks that the big boy Roger is cool. We watched it 3 times in a row!
